Secondary Traumatic Stress

  • Training Curriculum Outline

This is known as secondary traumatic stress, and this stress can lead to burn-out, constant fatigue, and a loss of personal fulfillment at work. In this training, participants will understand the difference between positive and negative ways of coping with daily stress and the importance of self-care and resources to manage vicarious stress. Additionally, participants will be able to identify the signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue, and how to use their voice to advocate for their individual needs.
